An assistant sales manager primarily supports the Sales Manager by overseeing a team of sales representatives, driving sales of banking products like loans, credit cards, and investments, generating new leads, managing customer relationships, and ensuring achievement of sales targets within compliance guidelines, all while actively contributing to the development and execution of sales strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coach a team of sales representatives to maximize their performance and achieve individual sales goals
2. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs for sales team members.
3. Motivate and inspire the sales team to consistently exceed targets
4. Proven ability to manage and motivate a sales team
Qualifications AND skills:
1. Bachelor's degree prefer
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales
3. Strong leadership and team management skills
4. ability to analyze sales data and generate reports
