Infotainment Triage & Debug Engineer (4-9 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Infotainment System Engineer specializing in defect triaging for automotive infotainment systems.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in analyzing and debugging defects, ensuring high-quality issue resolution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.

This role requires expertise in log analysis, automotive communication protocols, and testing tools.

Job Responsibilities :

- Conduct root cause analysis of issues using logs/traces.

- Identify and eliminate duplicate tickets through root cause evaluation.

- Assess and assign severity and priority levels to defects.

- Ensure the quality and completeness of reported defects.

- Analyze defects to determine the correct domain.

- Follow established processes for creating and maintaining triaging documentation.

- Collaborate with developers, testers, and automation engineers to clarify and address reported - defects.

- Perform functional and non-functional requirement testing as needed.

- Proficiency in infotainment system defect analysis and triaging.

- Expertise in trace/log analysis (e.g., DLT, CAN, Ethernet logs).

- Hands-on experience with automotive tools like DLT Viewer, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco, etc.

- Strong knowledge of automotive infotainment system testing across different OEMs, regions, and languages.

- Understanding of automotive communication protocols, including SOME-IP, SOME-IP SD, CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics (UDP, UDS, ISO-14229).

- Excellent communication skills.

Desired Skills :

- Familiarity with network communications.

- Experience in trace analysis for Android applications.

- Hands-on experience with automotive hardware devices such as Vector, K2L, power supplies, and power matrices
