Job Summary :

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Visualization Specialist to join our team in the capital markets domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial data, capital market trends, and visualization tools. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and presenting data-driven insights to support investment decisions, market analysis, and risk management for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for capital markets data, including equities, commodities, forex, fixed income, and derivatives.

Data Analysis: Work with large datasets to perform financial analysis, trend analysis, and predictive modeling. Translate raw data into meaningful insights for senior leadership and clients.

Tool Proficiency: Utilize visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar to create user-friendly and impactful visualizations.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business analysts, financial analysts, and traders to understand requirements and deliver tailored visual insights on market movements, stock performances, and risk metrics.

Market Insights: Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide market insights that influence trading strategies, portfolio management, and investment decisions.

Financial Reporting: Automate financial reports and dashboards for ongoing market trends, regulatory compliance, and other business needs.

Data Integration: Integrate financial data from multiple sources such as market feeds, trading platforms, Bloomberg, Reuters, etc., into visualization tools.

Performance Optimization: Ensure that visualizations are performant, especially when dealing with high volumes of financial data.

Presentation and Communication: Present data-driven findings and trends clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring they understand key metrics that impact capital markets.

Technical Skills Required :

Data Visualization Tools : Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for building interactive and insightful dashboards.

Data Analytics & Processing : Strong skills in working with financial data (e.g., using Excel, SQL, Python, R, or Pandas for data processing and analysis).

Capital Markets Knowledge : Understanding of capital markets products (stocks, bonds, derivatives, forex, commodities) and financial instruments.

Scripting and Automation : Ability to automate data workflows, including extracting data from APIs and automating visualization/reporting pipelines.

Database Knowledge : Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and big data platforms.

Advanced Excel : Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, modeling, and visualizations (pivot tables, charts, complex formulas).

Statistics : A good grasp of statistical analysis methods and how they apply to financial data.

Version Control : Experience with Git or similar tools for collaboration and version management.
