- Understanding in application documentation and the usage of the correct switches for installation/uninstallation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :

Application Packaging :

- Develop, customize, and maintain application packages using tools like Flexera AdminStudio, InstallShield, or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).

- Create and modify MSI, App-V, and other deployment-ready package formats to meet organizational requirements.

- Ensure application compatibility with the operating system and other deployed software.

- Maintaining the application catalog.

Testing and Validation :

- Test application packages in controlled environments for functionality, stability, and compatibility.

- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve package-related issues.

- Document testing outcomes and perform version control on package updates.

Scripting and Automation :

- Write and maintain scripts (e., PowerShell, VBScript) to support package customization, deployment, and troubleshooting.

- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors in application deployment.

Collaboration and Support :

- Work closely with IT administrators and vendors to gather application requirements and resolve packaging challenges.

- Provide technical support for packaged applications during and after deployment.

- Maintain detailed documentation of package configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps.
