Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and custom app development. This role demands strong technical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient ServiceNow solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Development :
- Lead the development and configuration of ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
- Build custom ServiceNow applications and advanced workflows using ServiceNow Studio.
- Create and maintain Service Catalog items, including advanced workflows and scripting.
Integration & Automation :
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST, SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub.
- Automate tasks and workflows with ServiceNow Orchestration and Flow Designer.
Platform Administration :
- Oversee platform upgrades, patching, and releases while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Optimize and maintain system performance, including monitoring and troubleshooting issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide scalable solutions.
- Document technical specifications, process workflows, and user manuals.
Compliance & Best Practices :
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, ITIL processes, and ServiceNow development best practices.
- Conduct regular code reviews and ensure proper documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience : Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
Technical Expertise :
- Proficient in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
- Experience with UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
- Expertise in building and managing complex workflows, Service Portal, and reporting.
Certifications :
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (preferred).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (required).
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, CMDB).
- Exposure to Performance Analytics and Virtual Agent.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Security Operations and HR Service Delivery.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
