Responsibilities :
- Independent, technically demanding (further) development of ServiceNow-solutions : Take ownership of ServiceNow development projects, leading the technical implementation of solutions.
- Configuration and customization of ServiceNow applications : Customize ServiceNow applications to meet specific client requirements, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Development of components for system integration : Create and implement integrations like
SSO, LDAP, REST API, SOAP, etc., to ensure seamless data flow.
- Collaborate with business consultants : Work closely with business consultants to understand client needs and translate them into technical solutions, with a focus on ServiceNow (modules ITSM, ITOM, CSM, FSM, IRM, Secops, Custom plus industry products).
- Configuration of ServiceNow components : Configure Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Client/Server Scripts to optimize ServiceNow functionality.
- Configuration of Service Portal : Customize and configure Service Portals to provide intuitive user interfaces.
- Create reports, dashboards, and NOW-Performance Analytics widgets
- Technical documentation : Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions and configurations.
- Support Competence Center development : Actively support the establishment and growth of the Competence Center in the company.
- Knowledge transfer : Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to ServiceNow developers, ensuring the team's continuous improvement.
Requirements :
- Several years of experience in the development environment with a focus on ServiceNow.
- Very good knowledge of solution and interface concepts, as well as industry standards such as Ajax, CSS, REST API, Angular, Web Services, SOAP, and XML.
- Excellent programming/scripting skills, ideally in JavaScript.
- Experience in +2 of ServiceNow applications "Customer Service Management", "Field Service Management", "Security Operations", "Integrated Risk Management / Governance, Risk and Compliance", "Financial Services Operations" and/or "IT Service Management", plus custom apps.
- ServiceNow certifications : "ServiceNow Certified System Administrator" (NOW-CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (NOW-CAD).
- Strong communication skills with very good English language skills (German skills are a plus).
- A degree in computer science or comparable training is required.
