Purchase Engineer

Position Overview: Rausheena Udyog Limited is seeking a skilled Purchase Engineer to join our Maintenance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and procurement, focusing on acquiring essential mechanical materials and spare parts for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for mechanical materials, including spare parts for machines, motors, furnaces, and related equipment.
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify material requirements and ensure timely availability.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier information.
• Monitor and analyze procurement trends to optimize purchasing strategies and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in procurement activities.
• Collaborate with team regarding dispatching the material

Qualifications:

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in procurement, specifically for mechanical materials in a maintenance context.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, spare parts, and materials used in industrial machinery.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
