Responsibilities:

• Identify and procure engineering equipment, spare parts, and utilities (HVAC, Boilers, Compressors, WFI, Purified Water Systems, etc.) for pharmaceutical formulation plants.
• Ensure timely procurement of critical engineering materials to prevent downtime in manufacturing operations.
• Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize procurement contracts.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard vendors in compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Conduct vendor audits and performance evaluations to ensure reliability and quality.
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers and develop alternate sourcing strategies.
• Work on cost reduction strategies while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Negotiate long-term supply contracts with key vendors.
• Ensure procurement contracts align with company policies and industry regulations.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with cGMP, USFDA, WHO, EU-GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain procurement documentation, including purchase orders (POs), supplier agreements, invoices, and regulatory reports.
• Collaborate with the Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, and Finance teams to understand and fulfill equipment requirements.
• Ensure smooth communication between suppliers and internal teams for timely delivery and installation of equipment.
• Monitor stock levels of critical engineering spare parts and ensure optimal inventory management.
• Develop strategies to prevent equipment-related disruptions in production.
• Implement procurement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency.

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation equipment, spare parts, and utilities.
• Experience in procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
