Auto Cad Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Engineer to support our projects by creating and modifying detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, technical plans, and project layouts. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure precise, efficient, and timely execution of project designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting:
  
• Develop and modify 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD based on project requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for engineering and construction projects.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards, company guidelines, and client specifications.
• Project Coordination:
  
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project scope and design requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Provide technical support and guidance during project execution.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  
• Review drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and compliance with standards.
• Ensure that all drawings and documents are maintained and updated as per revisions and project changes.
• Adhere to safety regulations, building codes, and engineering standards.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  
• Maintain a well-organized database of drawings, project documentation, and revision logs.
• Generate material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of materials (BOMs) based on drawings.
• Prepare reports on project progress related to design and drafting.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design for engineering or construction projects.
• Experience in structural, mechanical, electrical, or piping drawings is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and other drafting software.
• Knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Basic knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
