Family DescriptionApplied R&D (AR) consists of target-oriented research either with the goal of solving a particular problem / answering a specific question or for multi-discipline design, development, and implementation of hardware, software, and systems including maintenance support. Supplies techno-economic consulting to clients. AR work is characterised by its detailed and complex nature in order to systematically combine existing knowledge and practices to further developing and incrementally improving products, operational processes, and customer-specific feature development.

Subfamily DescriptionInformation Design (IFD) comprises the design, planning, coordination, writing, and illustrating of technical customer documentation and user guides in R&D product and system programmes. Contains planning, developing, writing, and editing of operational and maintenance information about products, systems, and solutions. These appear as web-based publications for internal and external users; sometimes including Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) and various forms of multi-media.

Knowledge & ExperienceEstablished skills and knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline. Uses functionally specific knowledge.Typically 3-5 years directly related experience and a graduate equivalent degree.

Skills

• Solid 3+ years for experience in creating technical documentation for Software products
• Good Understanding and Working Knowledge of DITA, CMS and XML based authoring. Exposure to GIT, Gerrit and Jenkins will be an added advantage.
• Very good Knowledge of Written and Spoken English
• Graphics Creation and Editing Skills Tools like: Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Inkscape, Visio Pro
