Technical Specialist

Integration, Verification & Testing (IVT) comprises the integration of SW and / or HW or system components into system, platform, product releases, or networks and verifies the integrated entity or network against particular requirements and specifications.

Covers setup and maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment, tools, and devices.

Skill Set required:

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Science background

Conceptual knowledge of networks

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment

Good knowledge of software development lifecycle & testing

Experience and very strong knowledge in Test Case Designing, Test Planning and various test methodology.

Should possess good knowledge of SDLC/PDLC and bug/fault report life cycle.

Must possess good problem-solving skills in diagnosing and helping in resolution of customer issues.

Should have worked with traffic tools like Spirent, Ixia or Router tester etc for end to end traffic testing. (Preferably Spirent products).

Should possess good knowledge on DevOps principles, tools and techniques and hands-on experience on the same.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Automation Skills:

Good knowledge in programming in automation/scripting languages like Python, Robot, Tcl or Perl.

Exposure to automated regression and analyzing results.

Exposure to Robot framework preferred.

Additional skill sets preferred:

Good understanding of GPON / DSL

Depth knowledge of L2 switching architecture and protocols

Ethernet, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VALN, ARP, MAC

Understanding and working knowledge of either of these protocols or in multiple protocols DHCP, PPP, IGMP, LACP, 802.1x, QoS.

Experience in testing above protocols, setting up test topologies to verify protocol implementation, scaling limits or performance.

Configuration Management knowledge.

Experience in Kubernetes and other Cloud technology

Experience in Working of Elastic Search, Kibana

Experience and knowledge in logstach

Job description:

Understand and become highly proficient in IP Based fixed access networks, Layer1, Layer2 and Layer 3 protocols

Develop both manual and automated tests to verify feature functionality

Maintain features that are deployed in customer networks

Understand real-world Customer deployments and incorporate feedback into developed features.

Work closely with all of R&D and Product Management to jointly deliver high-quality products and solutions.

Hands on with DSL and MoCA technologies will be added advantage.
