Mainframe Developer/Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain complex software systems in Mainframe ensuring high quality and timely delivery
• 4+ years of experience in developing and supporting Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners and other stake holders to define, prioritize and plan projects
• Debugging and bug fixing in existing code
• Suggest system improvements
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Lead a team of software developers and provide technical direction and guidance
• Should have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Insurance domain is a plus
• Assembler experience is a plus
• SCLM and BMC Code Pipleline experience is a plus

Preferred candidate profile

Very good working knowledge in Cobol, Db2, CICS, JCL, VSAM and someone who can join us in short notice
