Overview
The role of a Pre Primary Teacher is crucial in shaping the early educational experiences of young students. Based in Whitefield, Bangalore, the Pre Primary Teacher plays a vital role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for children, laying the groundwork for their future academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and engage young children
- Develop and follow a curriculum that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of each student
- Manage a classroom of diverse young learners with patience and understanding
- Observe and evaluate each childs progress and provide feedback to parents
- Communicate effectively with parents, informing them about their childs progress and behavior
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order
- Supervise children in the classroom, on the playground, and during other activities
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to provide the best learning experience for the students
- Keep the classroom clean and organized
- Identify behavioral problems and determine the best course of action
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
- Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the school
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education
- Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Pre Primary Teacher or similar role
- Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- In-depth knowledge of classroom management and child psychology
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools
- Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging learning activities
- Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Experience in implementing diverse teaching methods
- Familiarity with the current educational laws and policies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards children
