Senior Product Engineer

Work with global multi-functional project teams to support on technical and SAP documentation

Understand the functional and Manufacturing requirements of a product and ensure that the design changes meet the functional requirement

Work with SAP, PLM, Creo, SolidWorks applications and document management systems.

Review and understand BOMs, routers and Inspection Plans/ROS according to requirements

Continuous Improvement COPQ /VAVE: Identify and work with key business stakeholders and Engineering & operations teams to implement improvement opportunities using Lean and six-sigma tools.

Responsible for driving CT reduction, Scrap reduction overall equipment performance (OEE) through the appropriate use of Lean six sigma tools and techniques (TPM etc.)

Introduction of new equipment; equipment installation IQ OQ PQ ,

Execute PFMEA, DFM and product /process validation.

Develop and manage SOPs / manufacturing standards / operations standard work as required in compliance with change control process.

Minimum five or more years of related Medical product design and development engineering experience.

Proven experience in product sustenance and product development related documentation process.

Well versed with product lifecycle management process.

Hands on experience in SAP, Creo, SolidWorks, Engineering Change management activities.

Hands on experience using Minitab for capability study, gage R&R studies, Tolerance Stack-up Analysis and Process Improvement methodologies.

Demonstrate a practical understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and statistics.
