Job Description
- Work closely with business partners and engagement managers to translate complex business problems into analytics problems and solutions. Ask questions to understand business intent, problem statement, analytics opportunity, and value creation.
- Work closely with data engineering team to identify and consume relevant structured and unstructured data sources.
- Identify key hypotheses and data science approaches to answering analytics problems and getting to business outcomes.(AI,RPA,Tableau, powerBI,digitalization tool,etc)
- Develop and pilot statistical and AI/ML models through iterative process and rapid prototyping. Work with business users to ensure that analytics solutions are easily consumed and adopted.
- Recommend opportunities for process improvement based upon data analytics.
- Maintain raw data in SharePoint & TEAMS.
- Run out monthly performance report & Weekly tracking sheet. (such as spend, savings, delivery, quality, others)
- Project management skill to lead and coordinate with team to realize some projects
- Work on supplier s lead time & MoQ reduction
- Lead Kaizen projects
Qualification:
- A Bachelor s degree in data science, predictive analytics, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, software engineering, physics, or related quantitative discipline.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning and statistical modelling, including a demonstrated high-level of proficiency in applying data science techniques to solving enterprise problems.
- High proficiency in conducting analyses using tools like Python, R and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau(mandatory), Power BI, Qlik, Ploty, AI(better to have), RPA(better to have), digitalization tool).
- Good at Excel by using advanced tool
- Rigorous understanding of the fundamentals of statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence using both structured and unstructured data sets.
- Experience in developing hypotheses or analytics solutions for business problems.
- Experience in presenting complex analytics methodologies, analyses and insights in simple and concise manner to the business partners and senior leaders.
- Working experience in supply chain ( procurement, planning, etc)
- Project management experience is preferred as plus
- Financial knowledge is preferred as plus
We Value
- Experience in analytics solutions in industrial and/or manufacturing domains.
- Experience moving prototypes to production environment and optimizing models in production environment.
- Experience mentoring business analysts and other data scientists.
- Exposure to distributed computing frameworks as well as cloud technologies.
- Proficient with MS-Office tools, primarily Excel, but also Word and PowerPoint. knowledge of ERP (SAP preferred)
