Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Architect and orchestrate robust, scalable microservices infrastructure using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical documentation and system architecture diagrams.
• Extensive experience with API gateways, particularly Kong, and understanding of API lifecycle management.
• Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
• Design and implement data storage solutions with PostgreSQL / Oracle, Redis, and MongoDB tailored for high availability and performance
• Develop and maintain infrastructure blueprints and manage the bill of quantities (BOQ) for technology procurement and deployment.
• Document architecture designs and proposals, providing clear guidance for infrastructure setup, scaling, and management.
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure that infrastructure solutions are implemented efficiently and within budget.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions based on microservices architecture.

Define and implement robust data storage solutions using PostgreSQL / Oracle, Redis, and MongoDB.

Working together with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements

Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution

Provide realistic solutions for issues escalated in a production environment to ensure customers are running smoothly in the shortest amount of time possible

Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices

Ensure that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements

Develop solutions and provide fixes to manage performance within acceptable thresholds and SLA

Document Design documents and User Manuals for different business and technical modules

Communication skills to adequately convey analysis and status of assigned tasks
