Should have Good Knowledge on AIX Logical Volume Manger, HACMP Cluster Administration Basics, Configuring and managing VIO Servers, LPAR and DLPAR operations.

Should work in 24*7 support

Performance monitoring using vmstat, iostat, sar, topas, netstat and nmon and analyzing these reports to figure out any performance issues.

Linux server clustering (Veritas Cluster /RHEL /SUSE/Cluster/Pacemaker Clusters) & Solaris. UNIX

Overseeing a complicated environment of standalone and virtual Unix and Linux servers including design, build and implementation of systems in accordance to requirements and standards.

Improve upon existing system designs and automate processes.

Having sound knowledge ( L3 expertise) on OS: Linux & Solaris; Cluster: VCS & RHEL Cluster and Drive P1 calls till closure and support 24/7 operations.

Oversee a team of 20 engineers and administrators providing performance reviews.

Build, manage, and develop a team of Unix administrators and engineers including hiring, mentoring, and performance appraisals.

Ensure team is properly trained and current on Unix product trends and innovations.

Provide vendor management for all Unix related vendors.
