Role & responsibilities :

Credit Insurance

1. Credit Limit Management:
• Apply for and manage credit limits with various credit insurance companies.
• Analyze financial statements to assess the creditworthiness of buyers and provide recommendations.
• Ensure accurate allocation and timely renewal of credit limits.
2. Credit Utilization Monitoring:
• Track and report credit limit utilization across all policies and buyers.
• Proactively identify and address potential credit shortfalls or risks.
3. Claims and Dispute Management:
• File claims with insurers in the event of payment defaults and follow up for timely resolution.
• Handle disputes or queries raised by credit insurance companies.
4. Policy Compliance and Coordination:
• Ensure adherence to policy terms and conditions for all credit insurance agreements.
• Liaise with credit insurance companies to resolve operational issues.
5. Reporting and MIS:
• Maintain up-to-date MIS on available credit limits for each buyer.
• Prepare and submit monthly returns and utilization reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop dashboards for real-time visibility of credit insurance metrics.
6. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
• Evaluate and mitigate risks related to buyer default or non-payment.
• Work closely with internal teams to align credit insurance coverage with business strategies.
7. Market and Regulatory Awareness:
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry practices related to credit insurance.
8. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
• Support sales, finance, and operations teams by ensuring adequate credit insurance coverage.
• Communicate credit insurance updates and requirements to relevant departments.

Job Responsibilities for a Banking KYC Manager:

1. KYC Compliance Management:
• Handle KYC processes for around 10+ banks, ensuring adherence to global and regional compliance standards.
• Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory requirements, including OFAC, FATCA, AML, and other international guidelines.
• Ensure timely submission of all KYC-related documentation to banks.
2. Banking System Knowledge:
• Leverage a solid understanding of banking operations, payment systems, and treasury management to support smooth interactions with banks with respect to addition deletion of signatories.
• Address queries or requests from banks efficiently by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Documentation and Record Maintenance:
• Maintain comprehensive records of KYC submissions, renewals, and compliance certifications.
• Ensure proper filing of documents, including incorporation certificates, financial statements, shareholder agreements, and board resolutions.
4. Regulatory Reporting:
• Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory reports related to KYC, beneficial ownership, and financial transactions.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations impacting banking KYC and ensure compliance.
5. Bank Relationship Management:
• Act as the point of contact for KYC-related communication with banks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
6. Audit and Review Support:
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary KYC documentation and reports.
• Ensure that all processes meet compliance audit standards and address any observations or gaps promptly.
7. Process Optimization:
• Develop and implement streamlined processes for KYC submissions to reduce turnaround time.
• Regularly review and update internal KYC procedures to align with regulatory and banking requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Higher education in Accounting or Finance (ideally coupled with a professional certification);
• Minimum 5 to 6 year experience with 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role within the treasury department (at an international company or a bank)
• Excellent knowledge of banking flows and payment factory
•Advanced MS Office skills
•Accuracy and solid interaction and communication skills
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
