Job Description

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?
Financial Outcomes
  • Develop and implement appropriate Channel & Customer plans to achieve the sales Targets
  • Develop promotions calendar with tailor-made instore strategies to achieve sales target and leadership instore presence.
  • Monitor and achieve Fill Rate targets and maintain in-stock percentages as per goals.
  • Resolve ad hoc supply and stock issues promptly.
  • Manage product displays to enhance visibility and drive sales both online and in-store.
Customer Service
  • Clearly understand customers needs to build strong partnerships
  • Ensure customers claims are settled on time
  • Execute Purchase Order (PO) processes including Sales Order (SO) and Invoice handling efficiently.
  • Ensure optimal stock availability through proactive inventory management and collaboration with the
  • supply chain team.
Internal Processes
  • Monitor Sales Performance by Brand by Customer through Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports
  • Ensure commercial hygiene for the account - Quarterly finance meetings, claim release & settlement follow-ups & meetings
  • Provide Sales Forecast in line with Sales Trend and Sales Plan
Prioritize and resolve rate issues within a 24-hour turnaround time according to agreed-upon PTR
(Promotion, Trade, and Retail) guidelines and schemes.
  • Coordinate with the PPMS team to track merchandiser and promoter placements
  • Drive coordination, follow ups and daily sync-ups with internal CFA teams and regional account teams
  • Own and drive best in class service levels through daily coordination, planning, sales forecasting with Key
  • Accounts Team and Sales Operations team as part of Supply Chain functions at both TCPL and account partners
Innovation and Learning
  • Monitor and assess competitor landscape regularly on price, strategy, strengths & weakness
  • Provide on job coaching to Sales & Merchandising Force
  • Conduct regular market analyses to monitor industry trends and competitor pricing effectively.
What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
  • MBA with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in reputed FMCG organizations
  • Understanding & knowledge of Sales & Distribution systems. Knowledge of competitor mapping and benchmarking.
What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?
  • Proven and Deep knowledge of Sales and Distribution - budget, planning and operational control.
  • Knowledge of trade & shopper marketing and linkage with trade, along with strong experience in delivering P&L goals
  • Experience of working with GTM business to drive schemes and plans
  • Comfortable with handling ambiguity & cross functional stakeholder management
  • Keen interest and knowledge of digital solutions to improve sales processes and maximize data led insights.
