Job Description
Responsibilities.
- Overall System Administration of Nokia NetAct Cloud/BareMetal and multivendor EMS/NMS.
- Nokia NetAct/OSS exposure & hands-on experience is a must.
- Integration of Radio & Core & Transport Network Nodes with NetAct.
- End to end troubleshooting for the issues related to OSS Platform.
- Familiar with Fault Management, Alarm Monitoring, Configuration Management, User Management, Performance Management, Security Management of NetAct.
- Perform software upgrades on live NetAct Servers and roll-out. Trouble Ticket /Change Request handling as per SLA/WLA.
- Hardware maintenance and firmware upgrade support.
- Working with Nokia Care (Analysis, Troubleshooting, and Corrective Maintenance) for the complex faults. To handle emergencies and on-call support (24X7).
- Solution Management for Customized Business Object - Templates / Reports. Co-ordination with Nokia Care. Coordination with external suppliers for 3PP Hardware Support.
- Familiar with backup & restore processes on NetAct.
- Training to delivery team about the NetAct Administration and support. Help to prepare MOP for all the activity.
- Northbound and southbound integration with OSS.
- Perform the security management like centralized User management, Password management, collecting the Security logs, Audit Logs, Vulnerability tests as advised by Customer.
Skills required.
- Nokia NetAct Cloud and BareMetal - A minimum of 10+ years in OSS domain.
- Hands on work experience on NetAct product must require.
- Having good knowledge of VMware/Linux/K8s/Docker.
- Having Sound Knowledge with SDN, NFV.
- Should be familiar with Cloud environment.
- Familiar with Storage.
- Hands-on Experience on Cluster Solution, operating system etc.
- Basic understanding of Core /RAN/Transport nodes - what are their functionalities.
- Excellent understanding of NE KPI s and various Statistics and their formulae- should be able to handle them manually if needed.
- Stake holder management /Soft skills /presentations skills.
- Process knowledge like eTOM, Open App etc.
- Nokia Service Orchestration and Assurance is a plus.
