Sr Engineer - Software & Application Development

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Full Stack Developer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js, React.js, MySQL, HTML/CSS, Express.js, and be familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). As a Full Stack Developer, you will work on building and maintaining highly scalable, efficient, and modern web applications.

• Frontend Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic user interfaces with React.js, ensuring a seamless and responsive experience across devices.
  • Implement clean and well-structured HTML and CSS to meet the front-end requirements.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create high-quality user interfaces that are both visually appealing and easy to use.

• Backend Development:

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Design, implement, and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, handle third-party integrations, and implement server-side validation and authentication.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code for both the front-end and back-end of applications.

• SDLC Participation:

  • Actively participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, designing, developing, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, and Design) to ensure the timely and successful delivery of features and releases.
  • Ensure proper documentation of code, architecture, and system designs to support future development and troubleshooting.

• Performance & Scalability:

  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues in both front-end and back-end environments.

• Version Control & Collaboration:

  • Work with version control systems (Git) and manage the codebase effectively.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Testing & Debugging:

  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring quick resolution of issues.

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router).
• Solid experience with Node.js and Express.js for building scalable backend services.
• Expertise in MySQL, including designing database schemas, writing optimized queries, and ensuring data integrity.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes, Agile methodologies, and version control using Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in a multi-tiered application.
• Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
