Sr Manager - SDWAN Engineering

Responsible for different aspects of engineering activities to provide differentiated services and solutions. These may also include product evaluation, solution designing and testing and roll out plan for existing and new services, including design of tools needed for operation of these new services and systems. This is an Engineering role, responsible for design, deployment, customer solutioning and validation for our SDWAN, SD Security and SASE services. This role requires a high level of technical expertise in networking technologies, including SDWAN, SD Security, SSE, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, Multicast, and Switching.

Responsibilities

1. Design and Implementation: Develop and implement network designs that meet the organizations needs and future growth. This includes designing and configuring SDWAN, MPLS, QoS, BGP, OSPF, and switching technologies.

2. Customer Solutioning: Assist in Analyze and respond to RFPs from potential clients, development and execution of PoCs, Work closely with CFTs to understand and address customer requirements, validate design solutions to ensure they meet the customer s requirements and are technically feasible.

3. Network Support: Provide engineering support for the network infrastructure, including troubleshooting network issues and ensuring network security.

4. Project Management: Lead network-related projects from conception to completion. This includes managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.

5. Team Leadership: Manage a team of network engineers. This includes providing technical guidance, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

6. Ensure timely rollout of system enhancements, migration, deployment, and optimization projects.

7. Involved in planning, architecture designing, developing, and testing solutions and service products riding on network or across multiple network layers.

8. Perform integration with existing systems and conduct service validation prior to hand over to Service Operations team.

9. Ensure engineering Projects completed within target dates within budget and agreed scope.

10. Performance tuning and automation of application.

Qualifications

1. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of networking technologies including SDWAN, SD Security, SSE, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, Multicast, and switching.

2. Experience in at least 2 of the SSE products - Versa, Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler, Netskope

2. Experience in at least 1 of the CSPs - AWS, Azure, GCP

3. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

4. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team of network engineers.

5. Experience Cloud Infrastructure (Compute, Storage, backup, network, security) and application architecture and deployment.

6. Experience in system and platform deployment over the network layers

7. Knowledge of network security and its applications

8. Good to have: knowledge in Virtualization, VMWare and NetAPP.
