Job Description

The role will involve managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely compensation, and handling various HR operational tasks to support the organization's efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management and HR operations, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:

Process owner for Full Final settlement process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal regulations. Maintain. and update payroll records, including deductions, benefits, taxes, and leave encashments.

  • Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary updates.
  • HR Operations: Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation.
  • Manage HR databases and employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • .Assist with employee relations issues, providing support and guidance where needed.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth HR operations.

A. HR Operations:

  • Administer and maintain employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle HR documentation and paperwork for onboarding, resignations, promotions, and other employee lifecycle events.
  • Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, leave entitlements, and other welfare programs.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports related to payroll, attendance, and other HR metrics.

B. Data Analysis Reporting:

  • Apply strong analytical skills to assess payroll and HR data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports related to payroll trends, leave management, and employee costs for management decision-making.
  • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making in HR operations and payroll strategies.

C. Compliance Legal:

  • Ensure payroll and HR operations are compliant with statutory regulations, including Income Tax, EPF, ESI, and other labour laws in India.
  • Prepare and submit mandatory reports to statutory authorities on time.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during payroll audits.

D . Employee Query Resolution:

  • Act as the point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and HR operations.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to salaries, deductions, and benefits

E. Payroll Management:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
  • Calculate and manage deductions (taxes, provident fund, gratuity, etc.) in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and employee attendance.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for salary disbursements, reimbursements, and bonuses.
  • F. Process Improvement:

    • Continuously assess and streamline HR processes to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Suggest and implement automation tools for payroll and HR documentation management.
  • G. HRIS Management:

    • Manage and update data on the HR Information System (HRIS) and ensure data integrity.
    • Coordinate with the IT department for any system updates and troubleshooting related to HR software tools
  • Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in HR operations.
    • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software.
    • Excellent understanding of labour laws and payroll regulations. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with strong data analysis skills.
