Role Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for leading a critical vertical within the corporate strategy function and play an active role in leading / managing requirements of the Chief of Staff team. This is a central role and requires the applicant to manage shareholder reporting, facilitate organizational reviews (both internally and at the shareholders end), assist in development of company s long-term business strategy & ensuring its alignment with functional strategies, assist in structured leveraging of existing channels and support business development team in evaluating / pitching for new distribution alliances. The role also entails providing executive and strategic support to the CEO as part of the Chief of Staff team.

C Key Result Areas (Roles & Responsibilities)
Develop corporate strategy and ensure alignment with functional strategies
+ Annual Operating Plan: Co-own the annual operating planning exercise with Finance and engage both internally (and externally (shareholders)
+ Spearhead industry benchmarking studies and syndicate findings to the management and the Board
+ Regular review of the channel performance to identify distribution and operational gaps and recommend corrective measures
+ Assist sales and operations in developing segment / channel specific strategies
+ Ensure higher synergy between Finance, Actuarial, Sales, Operations and Corporate Strategy teams
Shareholder and quarterly Board Meeting requirements
+ Work closely with AIA (RCE Office) and Tata Sons (Chairmans Office) to deliver all planned and ad hoc requirements
+ Preparation of quarterly CEO s update to board and other committee meeting related requirements
+ Facilitate pre-board meet discussions and assist the ManCom in preparation for the Board Meet with adequate back-up material.
+ Ensure regular tracking of Board and shareholder related actionables
Chief Of Staff team
+ Provide executive, administrative and development support to the MD / CEO. Assist the function in serving as the primary point of contact for internal & external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the MD / CEO
+ End-to-end management of visits of delegations from AIA and Tata Sons.
+ Ensure end-to-end scheduling, management and smooth running of ManCom meetings
+ Attend meetings with the CEO as part of the Chief of Staff team member
+ Drive organizational deliverables and assist in cross functional projects
+ Assist the Executive Assistant of the MD/CEO in efficient management of MD/CEO s calendar
Internal and external business reviews / reporting
+ Responsible for analytical and structured leveraging of existing channels. Transition from mere data / MI based approach to analytics backed reviews.
+ Prepare monthly business review documents for internal and shareholders review. Revamp review templates in coordination with various stakeholders
+ Responsible for carrying out all review meetings and ensuring relevant material is shared with the senior management beforehand.
+ Ensure relevance, accuracy, timeliness and ease of consumption from the content perspective.
Central SPOC
+ Act as a SPOC for all functions and facilitate closure of projects within the agreed timelines.
Support Business Development (new distribution alliances)
+ Assist the business development team in identifying prospective partners, preparation of RFP submissions, derive business potential and create pitch presentations.
Ad hoc projects / initiatives
+ Create reserve bandwidth for unforeseen / ad hoc initiatives / projects
