Delivery Manager

Role: Delivery Manager
Location: IBC Knowledge Park, Bangalore
Work Schedule: 5 days work from office
Notice Period: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact software projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and within-budget execution while driving P&L responsibility for the portfolio.
• Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, customers, and leadership teams, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and expectation management across all project phases.
• Oversee multiple delivery teams, driving productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence through strategic planning and execution.
• Hire, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring the right skills and culture fit to drive high performance and long-term success.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to ensure high-performance teams, fostering continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define, scope, and execute project deliverables effectively.
• Implement Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies to optimize team efficiency, delivery timelines, and overall software quality.
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth execution and maximizing business impact.
• Drive continuous process improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance delivery predictability and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 18+ years of experience in software development and delivery, with expertise in Java-based technologies (Spring, Hibernate, Microservices, etc.).
• Proven track record as a Delivery Manager or Program Manager, handling large, complex projects and teams (50+ members), with direct P&L responsibility.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience in leading Agile teams.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, inspire, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of software delivery best practices, productivity optimization, and software architecture.
• Experience managing large-scale, distributed, high-performance Java-based applications.
• Proven ability to drive operational efficiency, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
• Strong stakeholder management, client engagement, and contract negotiation experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
