Sr. Solution Architect

We are looking for a Sr Solutions Architect to join our fast-growing Global Architecture team. Reporting to our VP, Architecture (North America), you will be supporting the team on with a key focus on creating, documenting, and managing the solution design of multiple design initiatives with a key focus on EFT/ACH processing capabilities.

Requirements

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with product owners to understand and define functional requirements
• Leading cross-functional sessions to build consensus on requirements, solution options, desired architecture and recommendations
• Translating conceptual architecture and business requirements into detailed solution designs with all necessary artifacts for development
• Decomposing large scale business programs into logical components and solutions that follow enterprise architecture strategy
• Managing risks and resolving challenges that have the potential to impact solution scope, schedule and quality
• Working across geographies as necessary to deliver solutions that drive global product offerings
• Reviewing development work to ensure that all solution designs adhere to Nuvei s architecture principles and deliver on non-functional requirements
• Communicating and presenting technical concepts, risks, challenges and selling points of a solution to technology and business partners
• Collaborating with SME s across Nuvei to ensure solution designs deliver on stated business value
• Coordinating overall solution architecture with Global Architecture leadership and other stakeholders

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

Professional Experience

• Experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect and/or Designer of data flows and processes
• Experience with large and complex system designs in a distributed and real-time polyglot environment
• Programming in a general-purpose language (5+ years)
• Application of enterprise design patterns
• Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques, processes and tools
• Experience leading projects with cross-functional work teams
• Broad knowledge of computer software, systems, infrastructure, security and programming languages
• Expert understanding of Agile development tools and processes
• Ability to communicate business and technical concepts across the enterprise, often conveying technical language with key stakeholders in non-technical terms
• Ability to drive consensus on technical solutions
• Experience in system design for governance and compliance related to PCI, NACHA and SOX

Technical Skills

• Experience with microservices, service-oriented architectures and layered systems
• Prior hands-on development with various programming platforms, including .NET or Java
• Database design and management using technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres and NoSQL platforms

Kubernetes, virtualization, hyper-convergent and containerization infrastructure

• Distributed messaging using Kakfa and RabbitMQ
