Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including reports, diagrams, and presentation materials, to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Documentation Development:
   • Create, edit, and maintain technical documents, including user manuals, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
   • Develop detailed reports and white papers to explain complex technical information.
2. Visual Communication:
   • Design and create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to complement written content.
   • Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex processes into visually engaging materials.
3. Presentation Material Preparation:
   • Develop professional and impactful presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
   • Ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with organizational standards.
4. Collaboration and Research:
   • Work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and project teams to gather technical information.
   • Research and analyse data to produce accurate and high-quality documentation.
5. Content Management:
   • Manage document repositories and ensure proper version control.
   • Regularly update and revise content to reflect changes in processes or technology.
6. Quality Assurance:
   • Review and proofread content to ensure accuracy, readability, and compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience:
   • Bachelor s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field.
   • 2+ years of experience in technical writing or a related role.
2. Technical Proficiency:
   • Familiarity with technical concepts, engineering processes, or software development.
   • Proficient in tools such as MS Office, Visio, and diagramming tools like PlantUML, Lucidchart or Draw.io.
   • Experience with documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar).
3. Writing and Communication Skills:
   • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar.
   • Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
4. Design and Visualization Skills:
   • Competence in creating visual content, including diagrams and flowcharts.
   • Knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus.
5. Soft Skills:
   • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
   • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
   • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment.
• Familiarity with programming languages or software development methodologies.
