Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer

Experience: 7+ years

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps to define, design, and implement cloud hosting and security architecture. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building infrastructure for our Partner Portal MVP, ensuring seamless deployment, security, and scalability using Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Architecture

• Design and implement an infrastructure blueprint for hosting the Partner Portal MVP using Microsoft Azure.
• Define the infrastructure for Azure services, ensuring scalability, resilience, and optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).

2. Security Architecture

• Design initial security architecture, including:
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) mechanisms.
  • API security and encryption mechanisms.
• Integrate security components with middleware to ensure end-to-end protection.

3. Cloud Infrastructure Buildout

• Build and configure cloud infrastructure using best practices.
• Ensure all hosting and security architectures align with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.

4. Monitoring and Operations Frameworks

• Define monitoring and operations frameworks, including:
  • Performance monitoring.
  • Incident response mechanisms.
• Integrate and configure monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Sentinel.

5. Collaboration and Documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and security experts.
• Document hosting architecture, security policies, and operational frameworks for ongoing support and scaling.

Required Skillset

Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms: Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and Azure Active Directory.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform and/or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Security: Hands-on experience with RBAC, SSO configurations, API encryption, and general cloud security best practices.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel, or similar for performance monitoring and incident response.
• API Security: Knowledge of API gateways, authentication mechanisms, and encryption protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 7+ years in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions.
