SAP ABAP Developer (4-11 yrs)

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP on HANA Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and optimizing applications on the SAP HANA platform, leveraging advanced ABAP programming skills and technical insights into SAP S/4HANA. You will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows on SAP S/4HANA and ECC.

- Write optimized code for HANA using techniques such as AMDP, CDS Views, and OData Services.

HANA Optimization :

- Implement SAP HANA-specific capabilities like code pushdown, CDS views, and stored procedures to improve performance.

- Optimize existing ABAP programs for SAP HANA, ensuring compliance with SAP best practices.

Integration :

- Develop and maintain integration with third-party applications using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and implement appropriate solutions.

Technical Design and Documentation :

- Create technical design documents (TDD) and ensure comprehensive documentation of developments and enhancements.

- Provide technical expertise during the blueprint, realization, and deployment phases.

Debugging and Troubleshooting :

- Analyze and resolve issues within SAP systems and provide root cause analysis.

- Support system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with new SAP technologies and innovations like SAP Fiori, UI5, and BTP.

- Proactively suggest system enhancements to streamline processes and improve system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills :

- Strong ABAP programming skills, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP).

- Experience with HANA-specific development: CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and SQL scripting.

- Good understanding of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO, HR) and their technical aspects.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.

Tools and Methodologies:

- Proficiency with SAP development tools like Eclipse/HANA Studio, SAP GUI, and WebIDE.

- Familiarity with debugging and performance optimization tools in SAP HANA.

Soft Skills :

- Effective communication and ability to work in a team environment.

- Self-driven with a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in SAP ABAP for HANA or SAP S/4HANA.
