Job Description: Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (Panel Business)
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Role Summary:
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will spearhead both marketing and sales functions for the Panel Business, driving revenue growth and market leadership. The role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in channel sales, strategic marketing, and team leadership to align and optimize both functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics, ensuring the business remains ahead of the curve.
Marketing Excellence:
- Strengthen the brand within the panel industry through impactful campaigns and initiatives.
- Oversee product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to enhance market share.
- Leverage digital and traditional marketing channels for optimal brand visibility and customer engagement.
Sales Leadership:
- Drive and manage channel sales, building strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and influencers.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies to exceed revenue targets.
- Provide the sales team with necessary tools, training, and support to enhance productivity and achieve business goals.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor marketing and sales teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ensure seamless alignment between marketing and sales functions to maximize results.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to the Chief Operating Officer.
Candidate Profile:
Education: MBA from a premier institute (IIM, ISB, XLRI, or equivalent).
Experience:
- 18-20 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on channel sales.
- Proven leadership experience in building materials, panel, plywood, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to drive both sales and marketing strategies in competitive markets.
Skills:
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of channel sales dynamics and marketing principles.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and market analysis.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
