Head - Accounts

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

- Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions

- Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement

- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective financial operations

- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with excellent academic credentials

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the retail industry

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
