Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Export Head to drive our business growth in the Oil & Gas (O&G) segment. The incumbent will develop and execute sales strategies, identify opportunities for market expansion, manage key accounts, and ensure alignment with the company's global growth objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the O&G segment, exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate complex international markets while securing key certifications and approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive export sales strategies tailored to the Oil & Gas sector.
- Align business growth initiatives with corporate objectives to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify emerging market trends, growth opportunities, and product demand within the global O&G industry.
Market and Business Expansion:
- Identify key products, opportunities, and business growth pockets across international markets.
- Build and nurture relationships with major stakeholders and decision-makers in the O&G sector.
Key Account Management (KAM):
- Manage and expand relationships with key accounts across regions, including MEA, Africa, Europe, Australia, and the Americas. Act as the primary liaison for major clients, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery. Develop account-specific strategies to strengthen partnerships and maximize revenue.
Certifications and Approvals:
- Work with relevant authorities to secure mandatory certifications and approvals, including those from ADNOC, ARAMCO, KNPC, PDO, and other international entities. Ensure compliance with global standards and regulations to facilitate market entry.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design a comprehensive marketing calendar for export business initiatives. Work with marketing professionals to enhance brand visibility and support global business development goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with teams across R&D, Production, and Operations to align export strategies with operational capabilities. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to meet client requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Metallurgical preferred).
- MBA in Marketing or International Business is highly desirable.
Experience:
- 15-18 years of experience in the Oil & Gas segment, with a strong focus on export sales, business development, and strategy formulation.
- Proven expertise in securing global certifications and managing relationships with key regulatory authorities and clients.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of the O&G segment and global value chains.
- Strong understanding of international markets, with experience in MEA, Africa, Europe, Australia, and the Americas.
- Expertise in Key Account Management (KAM), including building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach to business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with global certification requirements and standards
