Position Summary:
The Head of Finance Shared Services will lead and manage the Finance Shared Services Center, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to drive process improvements, standardization, and automation across the finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategy for the Finance Shared Services aligned with the organization's goals.
- Lead and manage the Finance Shared Services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, tax, and compliance.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and service quality.
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand financial service needs and ensure effective service delivery.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Lead change management initiatives within the finance function to support business growth and transformation.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant is a must
- Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a shared services environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms
