About our Client :
Our Client is a global specialty finance company with operations and investments across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Through its subsidiaries around the globe, Encore purchases or services portfolios of receivables from major banks, credit unions and utility providers.
About the role :
The Lead Program Manager will assist in managing the Technology portfolio with an emphasis on strategic change, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering and maturing project portfolio management capabilities. This role is
responsible for handling mid-size to large complex projects with the ultimate objective to deliver all work within a program incrementally, leveraging organizational guardrails and strong thought leadership. The Lead Program Manager will also be responsible to Program Manage Clarity or Non Clarity Programs whilst working closely with internal and external customers, subject matter experts, application development teams, infrastructure service teams in managing multiple, concurrent projects with multi-disciplinary teams to meet our strategic and tactical objectives.
- Typically 8 - 12 of years demonstrated and direct work experience in leading and large, complex, and strategic global initiatives.
- Experience working in a hybrid Agile environment with global matrix teams.
Certification : PMP or CPM, SaFe, PROSCI
Principal Responsibilities :
- Serve as an IT Program & Project Leader by exerting influence on the overall program's direction to ensure business and IT objectives are met.
- Drive and oversee all project lifecycles within the program to ensure incremental delivery of business outcomes and project stays within budget constraints
- Develop and maintain program or project documents including prioritization artifacts, charters, iterative program implementation plans, status reporting on deliverables, managing risks, assumptions, issues, and cross team dependencies with little to no oversight using established standards and procedures
- Perform and analyze intake of project demands, forecasting team allocation, leveraging standard processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Should have handled Mid to Large Sized Programs.
- Skilled in Project Management & Change Management Methodologies & Frameworks (SAFe, PMP, PROSCI)
- In depth understanding of Cost Management, Resource Management and Risk Management. Proven ability to create CBA, SBARs and other project management artifacts.
- Ability to interact well with others at all levels (end users to executive level)
- Skilled in Service Now Project Portfolio Suite and Portfolio Management tools.
- Exposure to handling projects ranging InfoSecurity, Regulatory & Compliance, Strategy and IT Cloud Projects.
- Should have some working knowledge of the DevOps Model.
- Skilled in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project Management Tools, Zoom, and SharePoint
- Ability to interact well with others at all levels (end users to executive level)
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Strong ability to drive for results and build effective partnerships.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing in a fast-paced and rapid change environment.
