About the Role :
This key leadership position plays a crucial role in driving the successful implementation and ongoing optimization of SAP S/4HANA and related financial systems (Hyperion, Lease accounting, ASP/GSP tools) within a dynamic and growing renewable energy business.
The SAP Implementation Manager will lead the technical and functional aspects of these systems, ensuring efficient operations, robust controls, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Architecture & Support :
- Provide expert guidance on solution architecture for SAP and related projects.
- Identify and implement best practices across the business to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Automate manual processes and design/implement standardized SOPs and controls.
- Architect suitable solutions for opportunities within the renewable energy domain.
SME Expertise :
- Serve as the primary point of expertise for internal and external stakeholders on all matters related to SAP finance and related systems.
Program/Project Management :
- Lead and implement SAP S/4 HANA as the finance lead, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal controls.
- Oversee the digitization of business processes through SAP implementation.
- Manage the rollout of SAP across all plants and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
- Lead and manage the successful delivery of IT projects related to the finance function.
Delivery Support :
- Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with both internal and external partners.
- Maximize the utilization of SAP across the organization.
- Develop and deliver the roadmap for SAP applications and product architecture.
Competency Building :
- Mentor, guide, and train team members to enhance their expertise in SAP and related technologies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP implementation and support, with a strong focus on Finance modules (FI, CO, MM).
- Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale SAP projects, including full lifecycle implementation.
- Deep understanding of renewable energy business processes and their integration with SAP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Experience with Hyperion, Lease accounting, and ASP/GSP tools is a significant plus.
- Experience with S/4HANA is highly desirable.
