Finance Executive

Location: New Delhi, India

The Finance Executive will be responsible for all tasks related to Finance and accounts at Takachar. Additionally, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive person with a strong focus on purchasing and procurement. In this role, you will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the procurement process to ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Conduct regular reconciliations of financial statements and accounts
• Coordinate with our regular vendors for smooth facilitation of payroll and other administrative processes
• Read budgets and allocate cost-centers as and when required
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and specifications
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve any issues
• Provide support in the development of procurement policies and procedures
• Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to procurement
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications
• Generate reports on purchasing activities and financial performance for management review

Desirable skills and experience

• Relevant experience of approximately 2-4 years
• B. Com or an equivalent degree
• Proven experience in accounts, ability to read budgets and cost-center allocation
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to multi-task and strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
