Job Description

Role Overview : The Cluster Director of Revenue Management oversees the revenue management strategies for a group of hotels (cluster) within a specific geographical region. The primary objective is to optimize revenue through pricing, forecasting, inventory control, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

Revenue Strategy Development :
- Lead and implement revenue management strategies to maximize hotel profitability across the cluster.
- Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and historical data to forecast demand accurately and set competitive pricing strategies.
Forecasting and Budgeting :
- Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to prepare annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ensure the accuracy of revenue projections and adjust strategies based on market conditions.
Rate Management :
- Oversee the implementation of dynamic pricing for rooms, meetings, and other services to ensure optimal yield.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to adjust pricing strategies based on customer segments, booking trends, and promotions.
Market Analysis & Competitor Benchmarking :
- Conduct regular analysis of competitor rates, performance, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
- Suggest adjustments to strategy based on competitor insights and market shifts.
Team Leadership and Training :
- Manage a team of Reservations professionals across the cluster, providing guidance, coaching, and training to improve skills and performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and performance excellence.
Operational Coordination :
- Work with the operations teams to ensure that pricing and inventory controls align with operational capabilities.
- Regularly communicate with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Front Desk, etc.) to align on strategies.
Reporting and Analytics :
- Regularly report on revenue performance to senior management, providing insights, analyses, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Use business intelligence tools to monitor performance, track KPIs, and drive decision-making.

Qualifications :
- A degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, preferably with a leadership role overseeing multiple properties.
- Strong knowledge of revenue management systems, pricing strategies, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
