Software Distribution Engineer I

List Skillsets and Tools Experience

Strong understanding of SCCM with advanced knowledge of application deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, client and server maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting

Must be proficient in the use of Revenera (Flexera) InstallShield. This includes creating custom MSIs using industry best practices standards as well as altering previously created MSI installers and executable installers for deployment in an enterprise environment.

Powershell proficiency as it relates to Windows end-point administration and software deployment automation in conjunction with SCCM

Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects

Working knowledge of technologies including: Desktop/Laptop computer hardware, Windows Operating Systems, network printers, TCP/IP, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and software distribution solutions.

Job Description

Day to day administration of SCCM environment to include engineering new solutions as needed

-Desktop application packaging, management, and deployment

-Endpoint patch management and reporting

-Task Sequence creation, management and deployment

-Providing technical guidance to SCCM team and customers

-Provide Tier 3 support

-Workstation client management

-Creating and updating technical documentation as required
