Reporting Analyst

Primary Duties:

• Data Extraction:
• Extract relevant sales and financial data from Salesforce to support business analytics.

• Salesforce Reporting:
• Design, run, and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports within Salesforce to monitor sales performance, customer interactions, and other key metrics.

• Power BI Reporting:
• Develop and manage dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize sales data, highlighting trends, insights, and anomalies.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance in all Power BI outputs.

• Metric and KPI Development:
• Create new metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tailored to business needs, enhancing the ability to measure performance effectively.
• Regularly review and adjust KPIs to reflect current business objectives

• Excel Analysis:
• Conduct detailed analysis of sales and financial data using Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data validation.

• Dashboard and Presentation Development:
• Produce comprehensive dashboards that provide at-a-glance insights into KPI performance.
• Create PowerPoint presentations summarizing key findings and performance metrics

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data integrity by implementing quality checks and resolving data discrepancies.
• Stay updated with industry best practices in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Document processes and maintain technical documentation for reporting tasks.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Salesforce reporting tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights.
• Proficient communication skills for presenting data findings to stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and refining KPIs.
• Knowledge of SQL or similar data querying languages is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or similar role.

Work Environment:

• Remote (must have reliable internet connection)
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Schedule overlap with approx. 8am - 12pm US CST is a plus.
