Role & responsibilities
- To work with a highly collaborative team to co-create next generation electronic hardware products in any one of the below domain [HiTech, Industrial, Enterprise, Networking, Transportation] along with Global and R&D Product teams.
- Perform Product Hardware Requirement Analysis, provide technical solution, Selection of Critical components and derive hardware architecture.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (HW, SW, Sys, Mech, Simulation) and be responsible for Hardware requirements, Design Compliance.
- Low Level Design, Schematics Review, PCB Layout Review, Test/Validation Plan Review.
- Prepare and Responsible for Hardware Design Document
- Define HW design process framework aligned with Product/Sys/Domain Requirements
- Mentor, provide guidance to Junior HW Engineers
- Define HW and SW Interface specific to the architecture
- Perform Risk Assessment, Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA)
- Work with New Product Introduction team towards DFx Review and compliance
- Identify, provide directions to resolve technical events on the hardware during bring up, EVT, DVT, Product Qualification Testing
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry trends in Hardware Product Development
Job Description
- Minimum 15+ Years experience in Electronics Hardware Product Development involving Digital/Analog/Mixed Signal functional blocks
- Must have architected, developed products from Concept or Requirements (atleast 3 or More with moderate to high complexity)
- Exposure to Schematics Design and Simulation tools (PSPICE, SiMetrix or Equivalent)
- Experience in Mixed Signal, High Speed Designs (Memory Interfaces, Bus Architectures, High Speed Communication Interfaces)
- Experience leading hardware development projects from concept to production.
- Knowledge of protocols/ latest technologies desirable
- Hands-on experience towards framing the test plan with appropriate validation techniques. Exposure to Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, EMI/EMC analysis + Testing.
- Good written and oral communication to handle global customers
- Should be willing to travel periodically to work with teams at different Geo location
- Exposure to Agile Methodology of Product Development
