About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.
- The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in exceeding revenue targets, developing and mentoring top-tier sales talent, and driving strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Management:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Set ambitious, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) sales goals and quotas for the team.
- Recruit, hire, train, and onboard top-performing sales professionals.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and results-driven team culture.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Sales Operations & Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze key sales metrics (revenue, conversion rates, customer lifetime value) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Utilize CRM and sales automation tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and forecast sales performance.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all sales policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales management role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-oriented mindset.
Bonus Points:
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- Experience in SaaS, technology, financial services.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency.
- Experience with sales forecasting and budgeting.
