The Sage X3 Developer works with the X3 consulting, architecture, and development teams to develop and launch new and complex functionality that is required during X3 implementations.

Responsibilities :

- Customization and Enhancement : Develop, customize, and maintain Sage X3 ERP solutions to meet specific business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

- Data Migration and Transformation : Develop and manage data migration strategies for importing/exporting data between Sage X3 and external systems.

- Collaboration : Work closely with system architects, functional consultants, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand customer business requirements and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.

- Design : Provide design recommendations and author documents to facilitate development projects based on architectural and functional specifications provided by the team.

- Apply modelling techniques and enterprise data standards to highly complex business requirements.

- Security Compliance : Ensure enhancements are secure, with appropriate data protection measures in place, and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.

- Estimation : Determine estimates for development work and ensure targets are met by achieving budget goals.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to the standards and practices provided by the development manager to ensure transparency and ease of maintenance.

- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve functionality issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.

- Testing & Quality Assurance : Conduct unit, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure seamless functionality.

- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Upgrades and Maintenance : Stay updated with new Sage X3 releases, updates, and features.

- Support ongoing improvements and maintenance of existing integrations.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of ERP application development experience.

- Industry experience in developing and delivering highly available, highly scalable ERP solutions.

- Experience creating high level estimates based on limited requirements.

- Proficiency in Sage X3 scripting languages (e.g. , Ado nix 4GL, X3 scripting, SQL, JavaScript, Typescript).

- Strong understanding of the Sage X3 architecture, data structures, and integration capabilities.

- Prefer experience with SOAP, Restful API, and Graph QL based web services for system integration using XML, JSON, and other data interchange formats.

- Capable of working in an iterative development environment using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

- Sage X3 Developer Certification is preferred.

- Familiarity with integration middleware tools (e.g. , Creatio, Boomi, Scribe, Jitter bit, Celigo, etc.) is a plus.

- Sage X3 Mobile Automation development experience is a plus.
