Job Description
- Proficient in C++ programming, responsible for designing, coding, and testing software components. Contribute to the development and enhancement of software applications.
- Create and maintain Makefiles, BOM files and build systems to streamline the software build and deployment process. Ensure code is efficiently compiled and linked.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Perl for automation, testing, and system-level tasks is a must for this role.
- R&D Operations with fast paced development model needs strong ML/AI based development. Having excellent ML/AI experience is a critical part of this position.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and optimize software solutions. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Apply strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems efficiently. Optimize existing algorithms and implement new ones as required.
- Work comfortably in a Linux environment. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues on Linux platforms.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of various factors.
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Expected to analyze project areas, refine problem descriptions, and develop quality technical solutions. May design and implement sophisticated algorithms to solve complex problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in software development and R&D projects.
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming and software design.
- Experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Perforce, Git, SVN).
- Familiarity with Makefiles and build systems.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Shell, and Perl.
- ML/AI experience is a must. Many operations project needs to be enhanced by applying appropriate ML/AI technologies.
- Solid understanding of Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
- ML/AI experience is a plus.
Candidate Requirements:
- Typically requires a minimum of 3-7years of related experience.
- Possesses a full knowledge of specialization area plus working knowledge of multiple related areas.
- Exclusively resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways on a regular basis.Passion for learning and contributing to the teams vision and product success with a team first attitude must.
- Customarily exercises unbiased judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
- Performs in project leadership role. Contributes to complex aspects of a project.
- Resolves and develops approach to solutions. Work is impartial and collective in nature.
- Provides regular updates to manager on project status.
- Frequently networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
