Job Description


 

Overall Summary: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate QA to lead our automation testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in automation scripting, a deep understanding of testing strategies, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring the successful delivery of quality assurance processes.

 

Responsibilities: 
  • Lead automation testing efforts by developing and maintaining test scripts for complex applications.
  • Analyze project requirements to suggest appropriate test strategies and test plans tailored for larger, complex projects.
  • Oversee data migration testing projects, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.
  • Manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, support, and status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the software development lifecycle.

    •  

    Software Requirements: 
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

    Category-wise Technical Skills: 

    Automation Testing:
  • Hands-on experience in scripting for automation testing.
  • Ability to develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.


    • Data Migration:
  • Experience in data migration projects, including data validation and quality assurance.


    • Team Management:
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of QA professionals effectively.

    •  

    Experience: 
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on complex projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality testing outcomes in a timely manner.

    •  

    Day-to-Day Activities: 
  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks for ongoing projects.
  • Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and strategies.
  • Manage the QA team, providing mentorship and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular status meetings to report progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
