Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Selenium/Appium (5-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Automated Testing : Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

- Test Framework Development : Develop and enhance automated test frameworks and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and delivery.

- Test Strategy & Execution : Collaborate with development and product teams to create test strategies, define test cases, and execute them efficiently for various platforms and environments.

- Performance & Load Testing : Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate application scalability and performance under different conditions.

- Defect Management : Identify, report, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues effectively.

- Continuous Improvement : Continuously improve and optimize automation processes, test coverage, and testing efficiency.

- Collaboration : Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that test cases are aligned with business requirements and technical specifications.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for test scripts, frameworks, and testing processes to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across teams.

- Mentorship & Leadership : Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members, helping to develop their technical skills and improve team performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with a strong background in automated testing for web, mobile, and backend applications.

- Automation Tools & Frameworks : Hands-on experience with popular automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar.

- Programming Skills : Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing and maintaining automated test scripts.

- CI/CD Integration : Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Performance Testing : Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.

- Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for managing test code and collaboration.

- Agile Environment : Experience working in an Agile environment with familiarity in Agile testing methodologies.

- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

- Collaboration Skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams effectively.

- Educational Background : A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
