Organizational Overview:

This role will be part of the Data Architecture & Analytics group part of CTO organization.

• Data team is responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading(ETL).

• Data team owns and manages different tools platforms which provides an environment for designing and building different data solutions.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources and ensure data quality and consistency.

• Building and maintaining data models to facilitate data access and analysis by Data Scientists and Analysts

Role Summary/Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Datawarehouse technical lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and operations by creating and supporting an environment for efficient software development, testing, and deployment. The technical lead will work closely with the DWH Platform, development teams, and operations team to assure that capabilities are delivered and the smooth operation of our systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience with Ab inito, Oracle , Unix, AWS Redshift.

• Experience in Data warehouse Project migration to AWS.

• Establishing requirement specifications and technical direction.

• Creating a framework for technical standards and procedures.

• Guiding team with troubleshooting technical issues.

• Analyzing existing or potential risks and redundancies.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop solutions.

• Evaluate the environment and tools to incorporate automation.

• Ensure infrastructure and processes compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor and optimize system performance and capacity.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• 4+ years of experience in Datawarehouse-related fields or in lieu of a degree 6+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of oracle, sql, Linux/Unix and scripting languages like SHELL, SQL.

• Experience with handling bigger oracle Datawarehouse and analytic solutions.

• Knowledge of Datawarehouse, SCD, dimensions design etc.

• Strong hands-on knowledge with DWH solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

• Knowledge on Redshift and Datawarehouse migration/implementation experiences

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks

• Knowledge of Database services in Public Cloud for Datawarehouse space

• Certification in Redshift/DWH/oracle or related field

Eligibility Criteria:

• 4+ years of experience in Datawarehouse-related fields or in lieu of a degree 6+ years of relevant experience.

• Minimum 4+ years of technology experience

• Minimum 4+ years of financial services experience

• Minimum 4+ years of experience managing Data platforms.

• Hands on experience with cloud platforms such as S3, Redshift,etc.

• Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships at all levels across IT and the business.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with a strong ability to lead and influence others.

• Experience working iteratively in a fast-paced agile environment.

• Demonstrated competency linking business strategy with IT technology initiatives

• Proven track record of leading and executing on critical business initiatives on-time and within budget.

• Demonstrated ability to drive change and work effectively across business and geographical boundaries.

• Expertise in evaluating technology and solution engineering, with strong focus on architecture and deployment of new technology

• Superior decision-making, client relationship, and vendor management skills.

Work Timings: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST

(WORK TIMINGS: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time - 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
