About the role

As Solution Architect, youll be part of a highly motivated tech team that is responsible for building high-quality public cloud applications, by applying agile architecture principles.

Your responsibilities include:

• Work with business users to come up with technical solution. evaluating various upcoming technologies, prototyping, and eventually helping draw conclusion on their applicability to our landscape. Evaluate design trade-offs and strive for simple, elegant, efficient, scalable, and maintenance-lite solution.
• Translate business requirements into system solution design and patterns that enables quality, re-usability, scalability, availability and maintainability in accordance with the overall Business Strategy and IT standards.
• Prepare architecture-related artefacts like data model, BPMN process diagram, sequence diagrams, user journey wireframes. Exchange idea with other architect, and finally take to Product Owners and wider stakeholders for acceptance
• Work collaboratively with Business and Product Owners and delivery teams to size and manage scope and risk.
• Take accepted solution and drill down to practical implement pattern and explain the solution to developer community, Tester, and business analyst to have end to end understanding.
• Being Agile and flexible to make necessary alternative design change without violate architect integrate
• Ensure and promote documentation on architecture design. Present and communicate ideas and design to various stakeholder for DGF review and various design challenging session.
• A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, bug verification and resolution.

About the team

This position is responsible for evaluating, designing and delivering solutions within the CorSo RES Tech landscape and project portfolio. In this position, the person is responsible for applying the latest technologies to design real world systems involving processing of large amounts of data, business transactions, and user interactions on various platforms. The person should have strong skills in technical solutioning, planning, design, and support.

In addition to design, this position will provide implementation guidance; ensure delivery and sometimes produce model code for a much larger developer community for solution delivery. Activities will cover all solution development lifecycle phases, from technical analysis, solution design, development, quality assurance to production induction and support.

The person will collaborate with a local global team of developers, business analysts, and production support personnel.

• Master or Bachelors degree level or equivalent in computer science or related field
• 8+ years of IT experience including architecture, design and development. Familiar with technical architect modeling language and tool such as UML and EA
• Experience in building IT systems based on agile principles
• Working knowledge of databases like SQL.
• Working knowledge of Web development (WCF,HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Experience working in Visual Studio, IIS and Windows Server
• Strong understanding in Restful service development and understanding of reusable object oriented software design patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication in complex environments
• Exposure to latest design methodology such as DDD (Domain Driven Design)
• You have strong analytical skills, and take on problems in a structured way, joining your own creative ideas and those of others. You can do this on an abstract level and engage in detail to make sure ideas are realistic and pragmatic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication in complex environments
• Ability to manage own workload and self-directed
• Exposure to latest design methodology such as DDD (Domain Driven Design) and hands on working experience with distributed computing system using event sourcing, asynchronous messaging as communication channel is a big plus.
• An understanding of PC primary insurance is a plus
