Job Description :
Responsibilities :
- Lead the coordination and communication until the resolution of major incidents impacting Azure-based services.
- Take ownership of incidents, assemble cross-functional teams, and drive the incident management process to resolution.
- Provide in-depth technical guidance to incident response teams, leveraging a deep understanding of Azure services, infrastructure, and configurations.
- Collaborate effectively with technical teams, support staff, and stakeholders to ensure a swift and effective response to major incidents.
- Maintain detailed incident records, including timelines, actions taken, and resolutions.
- Understand incident severity levels and ensure appropriate escalation procedures are followed.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance incident management processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Be available for on-call duties and respond to major incidents outside of regular working hours as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 7 - 9 years of proven experience in managing major incidents, particularly in Azure cloud environments.
Mandatory : ITIL Certification.
Highly Desirable :
- Azure certifications (e.g , Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of Azure services and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate incident response activities.
- Familiarity with incident management frameworks and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to incident resolution.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
