SDK Developer - IT Automation (8-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Demonstrate strong experience (8-10 years) in utilizing the PowerShell SDK to create custom cmdlets, providers, and modules.

- Design, develop, and test PowerShell scripts that leverage the SDK to automate system administration tasks, data manipulation, and other IT operations.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented PowerShell code following best practices.

- Develop automated workflows that integrate with existing tools and systems using the PowerShell SDK.

- Utilize your knowledge of PowerShell remoting and Desired State Configuration (DSC) to manage configurations across multiple systems.

- Possess good knowledge of VMware vSphere and be able to interact with vCenter Server using the PowerShell SDK.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure and the Azure PowerShell cmdlets is a plus.

- Work effectively with other developers, system engineers, and IT operations personnel to understand requirements and develop solutions.

- Clearly document PowerShell scripts and automation processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and providing technical guidance.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 8-10 years of experience developing scripts and applications using the PowerShell SDK.

- In-depth knowledge of PowerShell syntax, cmdlets, and remoting techniques.

- Experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g, Desired State Configuration) is a plus.

- Good understanding of VMware vSphere and vCenter Server management with PowerShell is a plus.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Azure Automation is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
