About the Role :
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished SAP EAM/CS Solution Architect (SME) to join our team.
In this critical role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in SAP solutions and the water utilities industry to design, implement, and manage comprehensive Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions for our clients.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful integration of SAP EAM with other enterprise applications and infrastructure, supporting efficient asset lifecycle management within the water utility sector.
Ideal Qualifications :
Industry Expertise :
- A minimum of 15+ years of experience in the water utilities industry, either with water utilities themselves or with IT services organizations specializing in the water sector.
- In-depth knowledge of water industry regulations and best practices for asset management.
- Proven experience leading at least 3 successful end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects for water utilities.
- Deep understanding of utility business processes, particularly related to clean and wastewater networks.
SAP Solutions Expertise :
- A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in implementing and configuring SAP solutions for the water utilities industry.
- Proven expertise in SAP EAM, including SAP S/4HANA modules like Asset Management (EAM), Service Management (CS), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Experience with additional SAP modules like SAP Asset Management for Service Providers (SAM), Maintenance Repair & Service (MRS), Customer Service (CRM), and experience integrating SAP EAM with other EAM applications.
- Strong understanding of SAP data structures, configuration, and customization techniques.
Solution Architecture and Design :
- Proven track record of successfully architecting and designing complex SAP EAM solutions, including integration with GIS, scheduling solutions, and other enterprise applications.
- Ability to assess client needs, define technical requirements, and develop comprehensive solution roadmaps.
- Expertise in ensuring seamless integration across the SAP landscape, maintaining data integrity, and addressing all potential integration points.
Technical Skills :
- Experience with work management and work scheduling tools like SAP MRS, CLICK, FSM, and field mobility applications like SAM.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for asset management within the water utility industry.
Leadership and Project Management :
- Experience in managing and leading a team of technical resources, potentially in an onshore/offshore model.
- Proven ability to effectively manage projects, meet deadlines, and deliver solutions within budget constraints.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Additional Skills :
- Experience with SAP IS-Utilities (a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
